SAT offers online the electronic NIT (tax ID) application (portal.sat.gob.gt/portal/solicitud-electronica-de-nit/), appointments to complete the NIT application, the RTU Digital taxpayer register, the Agencia Virtual and the page listing registration requirements for individuals and companies (portal.sat.gob.gt/portal/requisitos-de-inscripcion-personas-empresas/). The ICS 2024 lists registration with SAT among the mandatory registrations that follow commercial registration. The dossier records no timelines or costs for these procedures.
