According to the Foreigners' Permits Department (PEX) of the Ministry of Labor (MINTRAB), a new permit costs Q3,000.00 and a renewal Q2,000.00. Total processing time is a maximum of 20 business days, with document review taking up to 10 business days; a renewal must be applied for at least 15 business days before expiry. The procedure is 100% online and the resolution is issued with an electronic signature.
