There were 51 bidders; bids were opened on 12 February 2026, the economic evaluation took place on 25 March 2026 and the award on 16 April 2026. The volume bid diverges between sources: Energia Estrategica reports 3,653.93 MW (of which 1,933.93 MW renewable), while Republica GT reports ~4,700 MW (more than 2,000 MW solar and ~700 MW gas). The audit of 19 August 2026 flagged the figure as divergent; it must be verified against the CNEE's official record.
