Annual ship calls and their split between ports
- Infrastructure and logistics
- Ports, cargo and corridors
- Audited
Ship calls in 2025 came to 3,190, 2% more than in 2024, according to the CPN's 2025 Port Statistical Report cited by Infobae (verified in audit). For 2024 a figure of 3,134 vessels berthed circulates, split 43% Puerto Quetzal, 37% Santo Tomás de Castilla and 20% Puerto Barrios, but the audit established that this figure does NOT appear in the AGN item to which it was attributed. It is consistent with the 3,190 calls in 2025, but remains to be checked against the 2024 CPN report.
The research is written in English; quoted figures, source names and the titles of legal instruments stay in the language their source published them in.

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
