In 2025 the port system handled 1,119,626 TEU, up 11% year on year, according to the CPN's 2025 Port Statistical Report cited by Infobae; the full set of figures was verified in audit. Breakdown: 783,853 full TEU and 335,773 empty; by flow, 497,931 import, 525,587 export, 28,713 in transit and 67,395 in transhipment. Official TEU figures broken down by port could not be extracted from the CPN flipbook and remain outstanding.
