According to Construcción en Cifras from the Guatemalan Chamber of Construction (CGC): construction GDP of Q30,171.3 million in 2025 (+8.3% year on year); construction investment Q61,053.7 million (+10.7%); in 2026 (partial) 1.2 million m² approved and 1,980 permits — the municipality with the largest approved area is Guatemala and the one with the most permits is San José Pinula; a cement production index of 216.9 (base 2010=100) in 2025, rising; a Construction Sector Confidence Index (ICSC) of 68.7 points in April 2026 ('moderately positive perception', confirmed on the CGC's page). Diesel rose 18.41% against 2025, the input with the largest increase (seen via Instagram, to be verified).
