ASCABI (the Association of Binational Chambers of Commerce) is a private non-profit that brings together 12 binational chambers - the United States, Canada, Mexico, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and the People's Republic of China - and represents more than 1,000 companies. According to ASCABI, in 2023 the countries it represents took 43% of Guatemalan exports and supplied 46% of the FDI received that year (~US$568 million); the figure is still to be checked against the central bank (Banguat). Chambers with their own web presence: CAMACOES (the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce, which has chaired ASCABI), CanCham (the Guatemalan-Canadian Chamber of Commerce), CCI France-Guatemala and the Chinese Chamber of Guatemala.

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
