The CIG is the industrial trade body and the Guatemalan chapter of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). Current agenda: fighting illicit trade, port and airport modernization, and foreign-trade facilitation. President: Carlos Enrique Font Eggleston; vice-president: Stephanie Melville Molina (board ratified for 2026-2027). It presented progress on its 2026-2030 Strategic Plan at the annual assembly in July 2026. Anchor event: the XXI Industrial Congress 2026, on 11 September at the Westin Camino Real.
