Synergy Industrial Park is a private industrial park at km 53 of the Pacific motorway, in Escuintla, developed by Spectrum (the real-estate arm) and Grupo Pantaleon. Initial investment: more than US$20 million. Area: coverage cites 715 acres and also '500 hectares', figures that are mutually inconsistent (715 acres is roughly 289 ha) and are to be confirmed with the developer. It was inaugurated in April 2024 and, a year after launch, reported more than 1,400 jobs created.
