The VUI is a virtual one-stop tool for finding out what is required to set up in Guatemala; it was launched by President Giammattei and Minister Janio Rosales on 1 June at the Patio de la Paz of the National Palace. The AGN report omits the year; contemporaneous coverage (the simultaneous announcement of Yazaki's opening, Bloomberg Línea, 2022-06-02) dates the event to June 2022. The Investor Room was inaugurated alongside the VUI: a physical space in the National Palace of Culture for high-level meetings with investors. Its legal antecedent would be Government Agreement 532-92, a number still to be verified against the original text. The VUI's domain is investinguatemala.org; it is not to be confused with investguatemala.com, which belongs to the private agency Invest Guatemala.
