PEG-5-2025 is the largest supply tender in the country's history. Its terms of reference were approved by Resolution CNEE-270-2024 (30 October 2024); it seeks ~1,400 MW of guaranteed capacity and associated energy, with supply from 1 May 2030; contracts run up to 15 years for new plants and up to 5 years for existing ones. The bidding rules and the evaluation manual are in Resolution CNEE-108-2025; EEGSA publishes the process documentation on its website.
