Tariff elimination is complete: Guatemalan goods enter Mexico at 0% duty on 97% of lines, and Mexican goods enter Guatemala at 0% on 96%. Quotas: cheese 580 t (bilateral), tuna products 500 t (bilateral) and yellow corn 150,000 t (a unilateral Guatemalan quota). For sugar there is a 22% shortage quota that operates when Mexico declares a scarcity. Figures from the DACE profile of May 2024, verified in audit.
