The single Central America–Mexico FTA was signed on 22 November 2011 in San Salvador and has been in force for Guatemala since 1 September 2013, approved by Decree 4-2013 of Congress. It replaced the Mexico–Northern Triangle FTA of 2001. Dates confirmed in the adversarial audit against the DACE profile (May 2024).

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
