The United States accounted for US$325.3 million of the 2025 FDI inflow (Banguat preliminary figure), or 17.3% of the US$1,881.7 million total. It is the third source in the table, behind the Central America and Dominican Republic bloc (US$455.2 M, 24.2%) and Colombia (US$398.1 M, 21.2%), and ahead of Mexico (US$231.0 M, 12.3%). The dossier does not break down which US companies account for that flow; the figure was verified against Banguat's IED_2025 PDF in the audit of 19 August 2026.
The research is written in English; quoted figures, source names and the titles of legal instruments stay in the language their source published them in.

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
