Foreign direct investment inflows to Guatemala in 2025 came to US$1,881.7 million, according to the preliminary figure from the Bank of Guatemala (Banguat) (PDF IED_2025). That is an 8.8% increase on the US$1,729.4 million recorded in 2024; both the 2024 figure and the change come from IberoNews citing Banguat and have not yet been checked against the primary series. The 2025p total was verified against Banguat's official PDF with no discrepancies in the audit of 19 August 2026.
