El Salvador's minimum wage for textile and apparel maquila is US$402.32 a month (US$13.227 a day according to EY; press and guides also report US$402.26 — to be settled against Executive Decree No. 4, whose PDF is a non-extractable image), in force since 1 June 2025 after a 12% increase from US$359.16; EY reported no new adjustment as of March 2026. It sits about 15% below the Guatemalan maquila minimum with the bonus.
