In 2017 DIGESSP had 176 registered companies (112 meeting the statutory requirements, 51 holding a ministerial accord and 13 a governmental accord), according to the official gazette (Diario de Centro América); with 275 authorized entities in July 2026, the formal register has grown by about 56% in 9 years.
