DIGESSP as the private security regulator
- Operational and cargo security
- Cargo theft, extortion and private security
- Audited
DIGESSP (the General Directorate of Private Security Services), a unit of the Ministry of the Interior (Gobernación) founded on 2 May 2011, authorizes entities and issues licenses (series A/B/H) and agent credentials. Its register of entities (a 56-page PDF) publishes, for each company: corporate name, trade name, legal representative, address, license number, and issue and expiry dates — a direct input for vetting a supplier before contracting.
The research is written in English; quoted figures, source names and the titles of legal instruments stay in the language their source published them in.

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
