Stolen cargo value and signal jammer regulation
- Operational and cargo security
- Cargo theft, extortion and private security

The value of the goods per stolen container truck ranges from Q30,000 to Q500,000 (Prensa Libre, 23 May 2025). As of November 2024 signal jammers were not regulated by law; the Congressional Interior Committee proposed that only Mingob be allowed to acquire them, with penalties of 3 to 7 years for private possession (the bill's status was not tracked). Standard regional escort practice is an armed escort in a vehicle or riding in the cab, GPS reporting points and a post-delivery report (promotional claim); insurers' requirements (mandatory GPS, escort above certain insured values) could not be recovered from a public source.

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
