Under the 'Guatemala No Se Detiene' plan, INTECAP and the Ministry of Education (MINEDUC) awarded around 13,460 English scholarships in 2025 and project some 3,500 new recipients in 2026 with a focus on tourism, according to Prensa Libre/DCA.
