According to AGN (19 June 2023), the technical training institute (INTECAP) trained 1.6 million Guatemalans over three years (2020–2023) and awarded 32,420 scholarships in the same period; its general manager expected '524,000 students' in 2023. Historically, the institution reports 7.3 million people trained in its first 50 years (1972–2022, Prensa Libre). For the first half of 2024 a press item speaks of 'more than 180,000 people trained', a secondary figure still to be verified. The official 2024 and 2025 figure has not been extracted: the 2024 Annual Report (96 pages, published 22 April 2025) exists only in a Calaméo viewer and requires manual mining or a request for the PDF.
