The public figures are partial and of uneven quality: Universidad Rafael Landívar states 'more than 34,900' active students on its portal, while another source cites 31,176 (ca. 2024); Universidad del Valle reports 7,991 students across three campuses (2025, via Wikipedia); Universidad Galileo appears with about 45,000 with no date and no official public figure; and Universidad Francisco Marroquín with 2,700 (2023). The last three come from Wikipedia and must be confirmed with each university's registrar. There is no consolidated public series of national higher-education enrollment: the 14-plus private universities do not report to a unified registry, a structural gap the dossier documents.
