According to DataReportal (Digital 2026: Guatemala, with Kepios/GSMA/ITU/Ookla data; cut-off October 2025 – early 2026): 11.6 million internet users (62.0% of the population; +393,000, +3.5% year on year); 20.6 million mobile connections (110% of the population; +0.8%); 99.3% of mobile connections are broadband (3G/4G/5G); median fixed speed 80.70 Mbps (+54.2%); median mobile speed 56.58 Mbps (+42.4%); 11.7 million social media identities (62.6%; +20.1%). All six values were verified in the audit of 19 August 2026 against the page.
