Yes. The national statistics institute (INE) publishes the Construction Materials Price Index (IPMC) monthly, with base December 2018 = 100 and a basket of 89 materials and services (structural steel, cement and concrete, reinforcing bar, electrical materials, wages and labor, among others). The monthly PDF bulletins are available (those for May 2025, November 2025 and February 2026 were checked online) and the series sits on INE's open data portal as a CKAN resource. These features of the index were verified in the audit of 2026-08-19. The dossier proposes the indicators construction_ipmc_index and construction_ipmc_yoy (year-on-year change) from this series, as a cost-side complement to the construction GDP and IMAE series that already exist.
The research is written in English; quoted figures, source names and the titles of legal instruments stay in the language their source published them in.
