The flow published by the IGM: the file is submitted at the counters with a pre-review and a payment order for US$25 at the Banrural branch inside the IGM; tracking then runs on an access key sent by e-mail and SMS; a "previo" (request for correction) may follow, notified for US$5, with 30 calendar days to remedy it; then an interview; then biometrics and payment of the residency fee; then registration, with an optional registration certificate for US$15. The final mandatory step is to apply to RENAP for the domiciled-foreigner DPI identity card. Actual resolution times are not published.
