For every category the IGM requires: an application form; a valid passport with a fully legalized copy; criminal and police record certificates, apostilled or with consular legalization (pases de ley); a certificate of migratory movement for the most recent entry; and payment of the US$25 application fee. On top of these come each category's specific requirements and payment of the residency fee itself at the end of the process.
