Banco Industrial (BI), part of Corporación BI / Bicapital (Guatemalan capital), is Central America's number-one bank with US$20,882.5 million in assets as of December 2024, according to Revista E&N's banking ranking. Moody's Local Guatemala puts its share of local market assets at ~29% (report on Banrural, 27 June 2025). It is the recipient of the largest IFC, IDB Invest and DFC operations in the country and the originator of the US$996 million remittance securitization (DPR) of 2025.
