The IDB Group projects ~US$3,000 million for Guatemala in 2026-2028 (public and private, with most of it expected through IDB Invest and IDB Lab) and two loans totalling US$350 million for 2026, according to statements by Goldfajn reported by Prensa Libre on 14 July 2026. IDB Invest approved US$133 million for Banco Industrial on 12 March 2026 (a US$110 M loan plus US$20 M of blended UK SIP/CIF funds plus a US$33 M B-loan through BlueOrchard) for micro, small and medium-sized firms, women entrepreneurs and sustainable projects; for CMI Alimentos, the 2018 proposal for a syndicated facility of up to US$350 M was approved on 27 November 2018 as a senior loan of up to US$50 M; for Pantaleón, US$70 million in 2021 (US$50 M from the IDB Group plus US$20 M mobilized) for green agro-industrial investment and working capital for cane growers; and it anchored BAC's sustainable bond with up to US$70 M.
