The Central America Bottling Corporation (CBC) issued a US$1,100 million senior secured sustainability-linked bond on 27 January 2022, carrying a 5.250% coupon and maturing in 2029, placed by Citi and J.P. Morgan — the first SLB by a bottler in the Americas, according to LexLatin. Together with Comcel, it marks the ceiling of what is possible for a Guatemalan corporate issuer in the international market.

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
