The DFC board approved a US$300 million loan to Banco Industrial on 15 January 2025 for on-lending to micro, small and medium-sized firms (60% women-led, 10% smaller firms with climate projects, 30% others; 20% of the total for rural borrowers), with a total project cost of US$375 M and US$75 M contributed by BI; the precedent is an approval of up to US$200 M for BI on 4 June 2020 (a minimum of 30% for women entrepreneurs). OPIC/DFC also backed BI's DPR with up to US$250 M over 12 years, lent to Industrial DPR Funding Ltd. (Cayman Islands). US EXIM approved a final commitment of more than US$11.3 million on 29 July 2024 for two self-refrigerated nitrogen generation plants for Productos del Aire de Guatemala (PAGSA) under the CTEP program. The count of '12 active DFC projects as of April 2025' in the original version has no source.

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
