In practice, Arrend (a specialist lessor operating in Guatemala) offers leasing and Corporación BI itself promotes the instrument — both are promotional claims. The verifiable market signal is on the BVN: in July 2025 lessors' commercial paper was awarded — PARRENDLEASE3 in GTQ at 8.25% for one year, PARRENDLEASE2$ in US$ at 7.25-7.50% for two years, and PARRENDA5/6$ — which shows that lessors fund themselves on the exchange at those levels. The aggregate leasing portfolio since Decree 2-2021 does not exist as public data: the SIB does not break it out and there is no trade association.
The research is written in English; quoted figures, source names and the titles of legal instruments stay in the language their source published them in.

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
