Banguat's monetary policy rate is 3.50%, in force as of 24 June 2026 (detail in dossier 10). The system's average lending rate across all currencies was 12.85% in 2025, 12.40% in 2024 and 11.96% in 2023, according to the World Bank's FR.INR.LEND indicator. That average is inflated by consumer and micro credit: a blue-chip corporate places one-year quetzal commercial paper at 4.00-4.75% on the BVN.

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
