In June 2026 16 airlines were operating (13 in 2023) and destinations went from a little over 30 cities to close to 40, according to the civil aviation authority (DGAC) cited by Prensa Libre; operations at La Aurora rose from 33,236 (2023) to 34,892 (2025), ≈+5%. Recent routes: Wingo GUA–Bogotá (29-Oct-2025), Frontier GUA–Houston (18-Dec-2025), Avianca GUA–San Francisco (4-Jun-2026), Frontier GUA–Orlando (11-Jun-2026) and Wingo GUA–Medellín (25-Jun-2026). Air Canada flew to Montreal for the first time on 3-Oct-2025 (seasonally) and from July 2026 the route is permanent: 4 flights a week Nov–Apr and 3 a week May–Oct on a B787-8; it announced a weekly year-round Toronto service on an A321neo from December 2026.
