Guatemala closed 2025 with 3,361,843 non-resident visitors, +10.6% (+324,561) against the 3,037,282 of 2024; 2023 had closed with 2,649,967 (+44% vs 2022). Estimated tourism foreign-exchange earnings in 2025 were US$1,390.2 M. The peak months of 2025 were December (370,164) and November (318,808). The Sustainable Tourism Master Plan 2026-2036 sets a target of 4.6 M arrivals and US$4,709.1 M in foreign exchange by 2036, but states a baseline of 2.3 M in 2024 that does not match the 3.04 M reported — it probably counts only tourists who stay overnight; the dossier leaves this to be verified in the plan's PDF.

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
