In the 2024-25 season Guatemala received 51 cruise ships (39 at Puerto Quetzal and 12 at Santo Tomás de Castilla), more than 64,000 visitors and estimated spending of US$3.97 M. For the 2025-26 season 45 cruise calls were scheduled (34 at Marina Pez Vela/Puerto Quetzal and 11 at Santo Tomás), opening on 25-Sep-2025 with the Celebrity Summit (>2,100 passengers) and closing in June 2026; on 20-Apr-2026 8,972 cruise passengers coincided at Puerto Quetzal. Seasonality concentrates in January and April (16,800 and 14,336 cruise passengers in Jan/Apr 2025). The total passenger count at the close of the 2025-26 season was not found.
