Between January and May 2025 (INGUAT bulletin) 1,353,409 non-resident visitors arrived: El Salvador 613,904, the United States 264,104, Honduras 91,773, Costa Rica 47,128, Mexico 46,617, Belize 31,929, Colombia 25,974, Canada 21,696, France 13,250, Germany 12,743, the United Kingdom 11,185, Spain 10,618 and 43,632 cruise passengers. In the first quarter of 2026: El Salvador 109,901 (37%), the United States 72,244 (24%), Honduras 26,955 (+88%), Mexico +36%, South America 14,350 and Central America 53%. In May 2026 Canada grew +52%, Colombia +30%, Mexico +26%, Spain +16%, Belize +10% and the United States +2%, while El Salvador lost 18,249 visitors.
