In 2025 Central America supplied 2,083,281 visitors (≈62%) and North America 830,202 (≈25%). By country: El Salvador ≈1.5 M, the United States 670,103, Colombia 67,374 and Spain 28,511. In May 2025 the split was El Salvador 47%, the United States 20%, Honduras 9% and the rest of Central America 5%. INGUAT classifies its markets as Key (El Salvador, Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, Canada, the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Germany, Spain, France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom), Strategic (Belize, Panama, Argentina, Brazil, Italy, Israel, Australia, Japan) and Opportunity (Russia, China).
