Tikal National Park received 372,593 visitors in 2024 (197,009 foreign, 172,669 domestic, 2,915 admitted free); January–May 2025 totalled 177,163 (+1.6%); by 30-Dec-2025 it had ≈368,000 registered, projecting ≈400,000, with more than 1,000 visitors a day in season (administrator Luis Pinelo). Run by the Ministry of Culture and Sports (the report does not name IDAEH; to be confirmed). Fees for foreigners: park Q150, museum Q30, sunrise/sunset Q100, camping Q50; hours 6:00–18:00. Access: the CA-13 has 26.5 km under rehabilitation (airport–Ixpampajul 7.1 km; Ixpampajul–Ixlú 19.4 km), >85% done in May 2026, ≈4,500 vehicles/day.
